Can I return my purchase?

For a file bought here you have 14 days to withdraw, unless you agreed to download it straight away — in that case the right to withdraw ends at the moment of download, which we say before you pay. A paperback bought on Amazon is returned to Amazon, on its terms — we have no access to that order.

Which formats does this book come in?

E-book: EPUB (for e-readers and phones, including Kindle via Send to Kindle) and PDF (for tablets and printing). Both files come at one price — buy once, get the set.

Paper: softcover, 6 × 9 in. Printed and shipped by Amazon; the button next to the price leads straight to the listing in your language.

The audiobook is narrated by a synthetic voice, word for word as the book is written; a second voice takes the scenes with the daughter. We say so plainly so that nobody feels short-changed later — a recording in the author's own voice is planned later, as a separate edition.

The file carries your name, e-mail address and order number (anyone who receives the file will see them) and has no DRM: you buy it and read it on all your devices. The audiobook is a copy-protected stream: it plays only from your link, on any number of your devices, but cannot be downloaded as a file.

Which languages is this book in?

Six: Polish, English, German, Ukrainian, Spanish and French. Each language is a separate edition with its own ISBN, not the same book with a swapped file.
